A cyclist died in a collision on Al Faliya Street

A 25-year-old Asian young man died following a collision between the motorcycle he was driving late in the evening the day before yesterday and a four-wheel drive car driven by a 25-year-old Arab driver on Al Faliya Street in Ras Al Khaimah.

Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, who was present at the scene of the accident, said that the details began with the receipt of a report to the police operations room at exactly eleven and 48 minutes on Monday evening about a collision between a motorcycle and a four-wheel drive vehicle. The bike driver sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

He added that the national ambulance and police patrols immediately rushed to the place, pointing out that the body of the deceased was transported to the hospital in preparation for handing it over to his family to hold a burial ceremony according to established procedures. The competent traffic authorities received the accident file to complete the legal procedures.
