A French team specializing in the pelvic joint replacement at Dubai Hospital


Dubai Health Authority in Dubai will host, from April 27, until the first of next May, a French medical team, specializing in surgery and pelvic joint replacement operations, to provide its advisory, diagnostic and therapeutic services to the patient patients at Dubai Hospital.

The Director of the Department of Foreign Relations and Information at the Authority, Abdul Rahman Mohamed Al -Ughani, said that hosting the French surgical team comes as a result of the visit by the delegation of the authority, recently, to the French Republic to see the latest global developments and modern technologies in various medical specialties, including the replacement of the joints.

He explained that the French surgical team will coordinate with the departments of orthopedics and injuries in the authority’s hospitals to conduct a number of joint replacement operations for patients in need in the authority’s hospitals, according to the latest global technologies in this field.

Al -Ugani added that the modern technology used in this type of surgery contributes to the possibility of the patient standing the next day of the operation, and his exit from the hospital within three days, in addition to the patient’s lack of need to undergo extensive physical therapy sessions, and the possibility of returning to practice the nature of his work within two weeks .

He pointed to the concern, which the authority takes to provide specialized and distinguished treatment services to its sick customers, pointing to the positive results achieved by the visiting doctor’s program, by providing an opportunity for doctors to friction, and benefit from global experiences.
