Opening the door for registration in public schools for the next academic year 2025-2026

The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of registration in government schools for the academic year 2025-2026 for citizens and their like, starting from February 10 to March 7, 2025, where registration will be opened only once during the mentioned period.

The Ministry stressed the need for parents to adhere to registration during the declared period, with the aim of planning proactive for the next academic year, including the provision of textbooks as well as school transportation, noting that the registration after the expiry of the period referred to will fall under the conditional registration, where the request will be studied According to the availability of school seats in the school within the student’s geographical scope, as well as the guardian’s pledge to provide school books services in addition to transportation to and from school.

The Ministry indicated that the registration includes four categories of students from the kindergarten to the twelfth grade and includes groups, new students, students transferred from private schools or institutes for government schools, as well as students from government schools to government, and students moved from schools outside the country.

Acceptance age
The Ministry determined the age of admission at the various levels /09/2019 until 08/31/2020 from the age of five on August 31 of the year in which he accepts, and he accepts in the first grade students born 01/01/2017 until 31/08/2019 from the age of six on August 31 From the year in which he accepts and is not more than eight years old.
