A partnership between Flydubai and Malaysia’s Batik Air

Today, flydubai and Malaysia’s Batik Air announced a partnership agreement that allows flydubai passengers to access more than 40 destinations through the Batik Air network via Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The agreement provides passengers with flexible and seamless connecting flights between the UAE, Malaysia and abroad, and to explore new destinations on the two carriers’ joint network with one reservation and checked baggage.

The partnership allows Batik Air passengers to travel seamlessly to 38 destinations on the flydubai network across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central Europe and Southeastern Europe, in addition to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Middle East.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of Flydubai, said: “We look forward to providing more opportunities for our passengers to explore Southeast Asia and beyond, and we are always committed to facilitating the flow of trade and tourism and enhancing and supporting Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub.”

In turn, Batik Air CEO, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthi, said that this agreement represents an important step forward towards enhancing travel capabilities for customers.
