Abu Dhabi Department of Energy wins the Forward-looking Leadership Award

The Department of Energy in Abu Dhabi won the Forward-looking Leadership Award in recognition of its prominent role in developing innovative policies in the field of water reuse, during the awards ceremony held within the framework of the activities of the World Desalination Conference 2024, which was hosted by the Department of Energy in Abu Dhabi. The department received this award in recognition of its pioneering efforts and qualitative initiatives in confronting global water challenges. The ceremony was attended by a number of senior local and international officials in the fields of energy, water, environment and sustainability, in addition to delegations of entities participating in the conference. The event was an opportunity to celebrate outstanding achievements that are in line with the conference’s mission aimed at encouraging innovative solutions to address the challenges of water scarcity.
