Under the slogan “Safe Markets for Consumers,” the Emirate of Abu Dhabi continues to affirm its leadership in ensuring the quality and safety of products traded through sales outlets in local markets, based on its keenness to enhance the quality of services and products and ensure that they are free of substances that may pose a threat to public health.

The relevant authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi play a pivotal role in enhancing oversight of local markets and ensuring the quality of traded products, as the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council works in coordination with governmental and semi-governmental bodies to ensure that products and services conform to approved standards.

The Council is keen to ensure the safety of products traded in Abu Dhabi markets, by monitoring the products to ensure their compliance with their specifications and technical regulations, as samples are taken and examined in the Council’s laboratories.
