“Abu Dhabi Ports” includes its digital assets under the umbrella of “Maqta Technology Group”

Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced yesterday, changing the brand and corporate identity of Maqta Gateway Company to Maqta Technology Group, in line with its strategy to facilitate global trade by employing digitization solutions.

This launch represents a turning point for the Maqta Technology Group into an organization focused on future technology, based on the principles of innovation, integration and thoughtful investment, with a firm commitment to continuing to provide an enhanced experience for all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

Maqta Technology Group, with a vision aimed at digitizing trade, will participate with the digital sector of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, in integrating the distinctive capabilities of the main brand – Maqta Gateway, the digital arm of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, into a strategic investment portfolio that includes the “TTech” company specialized in developing and using… Technology to improve customs and border operations, and Dubai Technology, which specializes in developing trade and transportation solutions.

The portfolio will also include the Maqta Ayla project, a project in which a majority stake was acquired to digitize the maritime sector in the Jordanian city of Aqaba, in addition to Nishan Company, a provider of smart security solutions and services.
