The Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saif Al -Suwaidi, said that an Emirati work team arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, in the context of working on technical arrangements to restart flights between the two countries, noting that once these measures are completed, the air carriers will start operating flights.
He added to “Emirates Today”, some companies are ready to operate their flights quickly, noting that after completing the procedures by the authority, the decision to operate and the timing of flights is due to the airlines itself.
Al -Suwaidi expected flights to operate within a very recent period.
