The Board of Directors of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, headed by Mohammed Al Shaibani, approved the names of 89 beneficiaries of residential land grants.
The Foundation’s acting executive director, Sami Gargash, said that lands will be allocated to citizens whose names have been approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, provided that they are able to build, or have loan approvals from the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, or the departments. and the institutions in which they work.
He added that every person whose name is announced, who has the financial ability to build, or who has obtained approval for a housing loan, will be allocated land, and will be given a full year to obtain a building permit, and then given two years to complete it. In the event that he is unable to build, his right will remain preserved to obtain the land in the future as long as he meets the allocation conditions referred to above, so that the land will not be withdrawn from him after a year has passed if he does not obtain a building permit within the specified period, so that the opportunity is available to those who are currently able to build. And not just to reserve land for long periods without construction.
Gargash added that the person who has been approved to be granted a plot of land, and who meets the allocation conditions, must contact the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment to complete the procedures, as the establishment will address Dubai Municipality for allocation. The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment allocated approximately 1,211 plots of land to citizens of Dubai earlier this year.
