The Dubai South region, the largest urban development project that focuses on aviation, logistical services and real estate, has signed an agreement with the international company “UPS” specializing in logistical services, to launch a new facility in the logistical area, within the framework of the company’s strategy to expand its operations in the region.

A statement issued yesterday stated that the agreement was signed by the Director of Business Development and Investors Relations in the logistical region of “Dubai South”, Tariq Badri, and the Vice President for Legal Affairs in the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa in “UPS”, Andrew Suleiman, in the presence of the Executive Director of the logistical region of “Dubai South”, Mohsen Ahmed, and Vice President for Transport in the Indian and Middle East and Africa in the Middle East and Africa in “UPS”, named Demirel.

The new facility will strengthen the operational capacity of UPS, in the UAE, including international commercial ties through its wide global network, and the facility is scheduled to complete, and work begins before the end of the year.

Ahmed said: “Our partnership with (UPS) reflects the commitment of (Dubai South) to consolidate the position of Dubai as a global logistical center, and this new facility will contribute to enhancing the capabilities (UPS), which allows them to provide faster and more efficient services.” The area ».

For his part, Demirel said that “Dubai’s global infrastructure and its strategic location is making a vital center for the global UPS network, and through this new facility, we will be able to connect companies throughout the Middle East with more than 200 countries and regions around the world, which enhances efficiency and growth for companies of all sizes in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.”
