The “Mountain Bike Race,” organized by the Dubai Sports Council in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality, concluded in Mushrif National Park in the Al Khawaneej area for the second year in a row, and was held on a uniquely designed track in the middle of a forest containing 70,000 trees.

The “56-kilometre men’s professional mountain bike race” was won by Ajit Salman, champion of the last edition, where he won first place, followed by Ryan Hunt, then Maro Rudolph. In the women’s race, Vicky Walshaw won first place, followed by Rachel Delauney, while Robyn James O’Connor came in third place.

In the “56 km professional sand bike race for men,” Ashraf Khudairi won first place, followed by Vitor Carvalho, then Almir Mujic. In the women’s race, Madison Black won first place, followed by Rebecca Ellis, and Patty Kinberger took third place.

In the “Men’s 37 km Amateur Mountain Bike Race,” Ronald Verona won first place, followed by Marlon Mendoza, then Florin Daniel Lee. In the women’s race, Andreija Brill won first place, followed by Christina Zabolotko, and Fiona Badon came third.

In the “37 km amateur sand bike race for men,” Abel Destacamento won first place, followed by Alfian Hussein, then Frederic Joe.

In the “Men’s 18-kilometre beginner’s mountain bike race,” Romualdo Goquin won first place, followed by Nick Ray, then Landon Holt. In the women’s race, Sarah Brown won first place, followed by Ekaterina Solymanova, then Madeline Walsh.

In the “Beginners’ 18-kilometre sand bike race for men,” Cliff Parsons won first place, followed by Francis J.R., and Christian Hain came third, and in the women’s race, Sunshine Salgado won first place.

The mountain bike track in Mushrif Park was designed in particular, in order to add more suspense and excitement to the race, so that the riders pass between the trees with different climbs, turns and jumps. The track extends for a distance of 50 kilometers in all its stages, and is divided into three tracks, which are: the two green tracks. The blue track is 20 km long, while the red track is 30 km long.
