476 billion dirhams, the market value of the shares of 7 companies listed in “Dubai Financial”

The capitalization of the seven largest companies listed on the Dubai Financial Market in terms of market value reached 476.012 billion dirhams, by the end of trading in the first week of this October, while it is expected to achieve a further increase in line with plans to double the market value of local stocks to the limits of six trillion dirhams. During the next three years, from its current levels of about 3.2 trillion dirhams.

According to a monitoring conducted by Emirates Today based on Dubai Financial Market data, the seven listed companies accounted for about 64.4%, or the equivalent of 476.012 billion dirhams, of the total market value of shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market, amounting to 739.31 billion dirhams.

Emirates NBD Bank came in the lead with its market value reaching more than 126.016 billion dirhams, equivalent to 17.04% of the capitalization of the Dubai Financial Market.

It is followed by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Dewa” with a market value of more than 124 billion dirhams, with a share of 16.77%, then “Emaar Properties” with 72.89 billion dirhams, representing 9.85% of the total capitalization of the Dubai Financial Market.

The market value of “Mashreq Bank” reached about 48.14 billion dirhams, equivalent to 6.5%, and “Dubai Islamic” reached 44.096 billion dirhams, equivalent to 5.96%.

The market value of Emaar Development Company reached 33.72 billion dirhams, with a share of 4.6%. The market value of Emirates Islamic Bank reached more than 27.15 billion dirhams, representing 3.67%. It is noteworthy that the Dubai Financial Market returned to achieving daily gains at the end of trading last Friday, and its market capitalization gained more than 1.29 billion dirhams.

The market capitalization of shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market increased from 739.23 billion dirhams at the end of Thursday’s session, reaching more than 740.52 billion dirhams at the end of last week.
