Continuous learning is the key to success in banking


The citizen, Abdullah Al Nuaimi, who holds the position of senior legal advisor at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and winner of the “NAFES” award in its second edition, said that “continuous learning is the most important supporter for him, and is considered the key to greater success in the banking sector.”

Al Nuaimi confirmed to Emirates Today that “working conditions in banks have become very favorable, in terms of time, vacations, the retirement system, etc., which creates an attractive environment for citizens.”

It is noteworthy that the Emiratisation rate at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank reached 45%, while the number of females working in the bank reached 670 Emirati women in various jobs.

Abdullah Al Nuaimi holds a bachelor’s degree in law and economics. He is a lawyer and certified commercial arbitrator, and a member of the Emirates Association of Lawyers and Jurists and the Emirates Society for Human Rights. He has more than 11 years of experience in legal affairs with Islamic banks, and specializes in the field of litigation and enforcement of judgments (civil, commercial and labor law) and resolving disputes amicably. In addition, he is a member of grievances committees, with a total practical experience of more than 16 years.

Al Nuaimi works as a volunteer in several fields, including community, humanitarian, and environmental volunteering, and has more than 700 hours of local and international volunteering, which reflects his interest in social responsibility on a local and international scale.

Al Nuaimi won first place in the “NAFES” Award, the second edition, in the specialized jobs category, for his work in the legal sector, and was honored for his efforts in the private sector and positive citizenship.

Al Nuaimi said: “For Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, empowering local talents and competencies and developing their capabilities is a strategic priority, in line with the vision and directives of our wise leadership in this regard. The bank is coordinating efforts with all its partners and providing specialized job training programs and leadership preparation programs to build the next generation of leaders in the banking sector.”
