As part of the program, the Authority launched two nanosatellites, “DewaSat-1” in January 2022, and “DewaSat-2” in April 2023. Among the initiatives that the Authority will review is the “Green Charger” initiative for electric vehicles in 2014, to enhance Dubai’s ambition to become the smartest and happiest city in the world, and to support green mobility. The number of “Green Charger” stations has reached more than 400 charging stations throughout Dubai, with a capacity of up to 740 charging points, as most charging stations can charge two vehicles at the same time.
