Dubai achieves unprecedented rankings among the best financial centers in the world

The “International Financial Centers Index”, in its latest version, revealed that the Emirate of Dubai has assumed a pioneering site among the best financial centers in the world, and its achievement of unprecedented pioneering rankings, due to the distinguished contributions and initiatives made by the Dubai World Financial Center over the past 20 years. A statement yesterday stated that the index issued by the company “Z/Yen” in London is the most reliable in the financial services sector, and it evaluates 119 financial centers around the world, and the “Global Financial Centers Index” launched an electronic questionnaire that collected 31 thousand and 314 assessments of financial centers from 4,946 specialists in the field of financial services.

According to the index’s evaluation, Dubai is advancing for the first time to the fifth rank globally in the field of financial technology, thanks to the initiatives of the Dubai International Financial Center, with an absolute forefront, so that the emirate is among the best eight international cities, and only to achieve global leadership, given its wide and deep capabilities within all areas of the financial sector, along with cities such as London, New York and Paris. According to the index, the Dubai General Ranked ranked 12th, and Dubai has become the first “most remembrance” financial city with expectations of its importance and the establishment of its place in the future. The index showed that Dubai is the only financial city in the region that is ranked within the category of the 15 best cities for competitiveness globally: the ninth rank in the infrastructure, the 10th rank in the business environment, the 11th rank in the reputation (this includes laws, regulations and innovation), and the 12th rank in human capital.

Dubai is also unique as the only financial city in the classified region among the 15 best cities in each of the following sectors: the fifth rank in financial technology, the sixth rank in professional services, eighth rank in investment management, the 13th rank in trade, and the 14th rank in banking / financing services.
