Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited – Dubai Branch (DIFC), with the aim of enhancing cooperation and joint work frameworks, to enhance the support provided to companies and businessmen in Dubai and China.
The MoU, signed by Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, and Wei Luo, General Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited – Dubai Branch (DIFC), establishes a broad and diverse cooperation between the two parties. The chambers will contribute to providing support to the bank’s clients in establishing their businesses in Dubai, with a focus on supporting the interests of the business community in Dubai and China, and enhancing joint work and bilateral trade and investment relations between companies.
Dubai Chambers stated that the signing of the MoU coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China, which contributes to enhancing the growing trade and investment movement between Dubai and China, and consolidating Dubai’s investment attractiveness for Chinese investors.
The signing of the MoU comes ahead of the launch of the Dubai-China Business Forum, organised by Dubai Chambers in Beijing under the theme “Cross-Border Economic Partnerships” today, August 21.
