Dubai Chambers signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding with China Construction Bank – Dubai International Financial Centre Branch, focusing on enhancing investment cooperation and unifying joint efforts to support Chinese companies wishing to expand in the Dubai market.

The memorandum aims to enable the two sides to exchange expertise and provide support to investors and companies, which contributes to expanding bilateral cooperation, opening new horizons for growth in various sectors, and supporting Dubai’s position as a leading business destination on a global level.

The MoU comes in light of China’s growing importance as an economic powerhouse in the world, as this step coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China, which contributes to advancing trade cooperation between Dubai and China, and enhances Dubai’s position as a major destination for Chinese investments.

The MoU, signed by Hassan Al Hashemi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chamber, and Wei Lu, General Manager of China Construction Bank – Dubai International Financial Centre Branch, opens new horizons for diverse cooperation between the two sides, contributing to enhancing the interests of the business community in Dubai and China, and developing bilateral trade and investment partnerships between Chinese companies and the business community in Dubai.

The signing of the MoU between Dubai Chambers and China Construction Bank – Dubai International Financial Centre Branch coincides with the upcoming launch of the Dubai Business Forum – China, which is being organised by Dubai Chambers in Beijing under the slogan “Cross-Border Economic Partnerships” on August 21. The forum aims to attract promising Chinese companies to Dubai and support Chinese companies to benefit from the regional and global growth opportunities provided by the emirate.
