Dubai Electricity Research registers 42 patents


The Research and Development Center of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has registered 42 patents, of which it has obtained 10 patents, and work is underway to obtain the remaining registered patents. The patents focus on various aspects of sustainability and areas of production and operation that the authority needs, including concentrated solar energy, electric vehicles, energy storage, robotics, drones, 3D printing, energy and water efficiency, data analysis, and others. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said: “We are moving with confident steps towards achieving carbon neutrality and sustainable development, and we rely on research, development and innovation to achieve qualitative leaps in vital sectors, and enhance our readiness for the future.”
