The Dubai International Financial Center Courts announced today the launch of a set of digital public services, the most prominent of which include the digital assets guardianship service, the certificates and attestations service, and the Friendly Settlements Service Center, which allows for online meetings through the updated case management system supported by artificial intelligence. The courts revealed these services during the GITEX 2024 Global Exhibition, where they presented live presentations in which they reviewed the new service platforms, ways to access them, their functional characteristics, and the advantages of their security protocols.

A Digital Asset Will is a new addition to the existing DIFC Courts Wills suite, and is a will form that allows individuals to distribute their digital assets using a non-custodial wallet from the DIFC Courts.
The forms of digital assets recognized in the wallet include: (Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Matic, USDC, Tether (USDT), and HBAR.
Another service that was announced within the new digital services package is the certificates and attestations service, which is the first of its kind in the UAE, and specializes in authenticating documents in the English language only. This service provides users with three options: automated self-service, direct online service, or personal attendance service. In addition, the service gives customers the option to use the authentication service through Primary Source Verification (PSV).
An electronic or physical stamp is issued for each document, and notarized documents are verified using advanced encryption methods supported by Hedera Blockchain technology, by recording all authentication incidents and placing a time stamp on the blockchain chain.
The courts will provide a new path for resolving disputes, through the Friendly Settlements Service Center, which will enable the parties to the dispute to negotiate to resolve their differences with the help of third-class mediators registered with the DIFC Courts.
This service allows parties to choose mediators and agree on fees and conditions in advance, in addition to the option of holding mediation meetings online using the updated case management system powered by artificial intelligence, or conducting the meeting in person at the court headquarters.
