On the sidelines of the forum, the Prime Minister of Uganda, Robina Nabanga, met with a delegation from the Dubai World Chamber in a private meeting, where she stressed the importance of the mission led by the Chamber in strengthening economic ties and business partnerships.
During the forum, Dubai Chambers concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Uganda Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the aim of enhancing cooperation between Dubai companies and their Ugandan counterparts, in addition to organizing trade missions, conferences and business events with the aim of sharing experiences and knowledge.
Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, said: “We are committed to strengthening Dubai’s trade and investment partnerships with various countries, and we are keen to support companies operating in the emirate to expand and grow globally in various sectors to explore opportunities in promising markets, including Uganda.”
