Dubai Islamic inaugurates an educational academy to develop employee skills

Dubai Islamic Bank inaugurated yesterday, Dubai Islamic Bank Academy, an integrated institutional platform, designed to make a radical transformation in the culture of professional learning and development at the bank level.

The bank stated, in a statement, that the academy was equipped to serve the bank’s employees through various specializations and job levels, as it embodies a new transformative vision for human resource management in the bank, and a qualitative shift in the concept of developing professional cadres as an administrative support means, to form a major institution for institutional performance, in a manner that guarantees operational flexibility and high efficiency in keeping pace with the variables of the accelerated banking sector.

The academy’s educational programs cover both technical, behavioral, leadership and organizational fields, providing employees a clear, approved and applied learning journey that develops with work requirements.

He explained that the Dubai Islamic Bank Academy follows a gradual multi -stage road map, focusing at its beginnings on refining the skills of all bank employees through accredited and comprehensive educational programs, indicating that the next stage will witness the expansion of its scope through strategic partnerships with prestigious academic institutions, and cooperation with organizational bodies and partners from the sector, allowing others to benefit from the internal experiences of Dubai Islamic Bank, its content and frameworks The training accreditation it provides.

In turn, the director of the Human Resources Department at Dubai Islamic Bank, Rafia Al -Abbar, said: “(Dubai Islamic Bank Academy) is a strategic institute located within the institution, carefully designed based on three main principles, namely: compatibility with work priorities, meeting training needs for all employees, and achieving academic excellence.”

She added: “We cooperated in the context of establishing this academy with internationally accredited institutions, and we also worked to develop high -level internal capabilities, as we created internal content that is subject to a strong working framework that includes the bank’s leaders, in addition to the Human Resources Department and specialized experts.”
