The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the “School Security” initiative, in cooperation with the Hemaya International Center, launched the “Future Security Leaders” program, as part of the winter course activities organized annually by Dubai Police, aimed at developing students’ security awareness and enhancing their culture in the field of security and safety. .
The head of the School Security Initiative, Captain Majid bin Saed Al Kaabi, said that the program included 250 students, and focuses on three axes. The first aims to qualify the next generation by enhancing their security awareness of current challenges, the second prepares them for future challenges and the importance of continuous learning, and the third instills leadership qualities in them, This is done through educational programs and field visits to various departments, to familiarize them with the role of Dubai Police, and to provide them with the necessary skills to become responsible leaders in the field of security and safety.
He stressed the keenness to provide all forms of support to students, through cultural and awareness aspects, and launching initiatives to communicate with male and female students in public and private schools in the emirate.
The students toured the Dubai Police Museum, the 901 Call Center, the SPS Smart Police Center, the Electronic Investigation Department, and the Tourist Police Department, and listened to an explanation about the services provided by Dubai Police to customers, and the “E-Crime” platform for reporting electronic crimes.
At the conclusion of the program, Dubai Police presented souvenirs to the students.
