The Dubai Shopping Festival concluded its 30th session, as the famous annual festival welcomed millions of the city’s residents and visitors over a period of 38 days, which lasted from December 6, 2024 until January 12, 2025.
In detail, Mohammed Firas Mahmoud Erekat, Assistant Vice President – Retail Calendar and Promotions Department at the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, said: “The Dubai Shopping Festival plays a pioneering role in stimulating the tourism sector in Dubai, through various attractive activities and events that meet the needs of all different visitors.” Their nationalities, ages, and budgets.”

He pointed out that “the promotional offers presented by hundreds of stores and brands during the festival contributed to the influx of tens of thousands of visitors to the various centers, shopping destinations and traditional markets throughout Dubai, which had a significant impact in increasing the sales of the retail sector, by increasing the number of shoppers from City residents and visitors.
Commenting on the possibility of future expansion plans for the festival’s activities or external promotion, Erekat said, “The festival witnessed an expansion in its activities, as the 30th session of the festival embraced a group of entirely new artistic and entertainment events, retail and dining experiences, including displays that combine fireworks.” And drones, and festival nights at (Dubai Festival City Mall), (Auto Season Dubai Shopping Festival), (The Uncommon), and many others, as the city’s residents enjoyed.
