Emirates Airlines announced the launch of the Emirates Rapid Shipping Services, in a move aimed at consolidating a pioneering position in this rapidly growing sector, depending on its huge fleet of aircraft, its wide destination network, and its huge experiences that extend for about four decades in transporting passengers and goods around the world.
The carrier said in a statement yesterday, that the Emirates Rapid Shipping Services transferred over the past year thousands of parcels from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa and the United Kingdom, stressing that the results of these experiences are distinct, as the average delivery time reached less than 48 hours, to become the “Emirates for Rapid Charging Services” ready to work, specifically for business.
“The Emirates for Rapid Shipping Services) said a qualitative shift that redefines how parcels and goods in general around the world, based on high standards that combine speed, reliability and large energies.”
He added: «Depending on our established global infrastructure, and we enjoyed a high amount of flexibility to redesign traditional logistical processes as needed, this innovative service does not only meet the golden (Emirates Airlines) standard for reliability and excellence, but also establishes new superior criteria in this field, and this is just the beginning in our vision to consolidate the constant innovation approach and achieve leadership in the rapid charging sector.
Abbas stated that «(UAE for Rapid Shipping Services) will contribute to a qualitative shift in this vital sector, as it has been traditionally customary for the management of parcel delivery and cross -border shipments through a global model in which parcels stop several times in different destinations before reaching its final destination, but (UAE for quick charging services) will change this model completely.
The Emirates Rapid Shipping Services will initially provide services in seven markets, while work is currently underway to provide its services gradually to other markets.
