Emirates Mai Tai Championship starts February 14


The Emirates Tai Championship will start on February 14th, in “Space 42 Arena” at Al -Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 824 fighters representing 61 clubs from inside and outside the country.

The Emirates Union of Mawy Tai and Cake Boxing stressed that the tournament will be held for three days, while the battalions will be held on four arenas, with the participation of clubs from the Emirates, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Algeria, Palestine, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco and Saudi Arabia, and that the number of coaches supervising the participating clubs is 183 coaches, while honoring The arbitration management of the tournament is 60 referees.

Al -Ittihad said in a press statement that «the championship competitions will witness the participation of players and players from the age of eight years to 23 years in various weights, and its program includes weight measuring and medical examination of the participants on the 12th of next February in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in preparation for the start of the competitions with rehabilitation roles. .

For his part, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation of Moay Tae and Cake Boxing, Ali Khoury, said that the great participation in the tournament represents an important value and a distinctive indication of the extent of the response of the players, clubs and the rule of the game in general at the state and outside the level of the Federation’s programs and competitions.

He explained that the tournament comes as a translation of the directives of the President of the Asian and Arab Union of Moe Tai, President of the Emirates Federation for Moe Tai and Cake Boxing, Abdullah Al -Neyadi, as it enhances the technical level of players, friction and gaining experiences, which contributes to expanding the scope of the game and its development, and discovering talents to represent the national teams.
