The Emirates Motor Sports team is participating in the FIA Games Championship, the competitions of which begin today and continue until October 27 in Valencia, Spain.
The event, called the “Race of Nations,” is held with the participation of more than 1,000 competitors representing more than 85 countries.
The UAE delegation includes 26 members, including eight players, in addition to the technical teams.
The Emirates Team is competing in the championship across six categories, with Saif Al Ameri driving the GT Sprint class. Al Ameri is considered the most internationally experienced driver in the team, and has achieved distinguished results in the Middle East GT Championship, the 24 Hours race in Dubai, and the 6 Hours in Dubai. Abu Dhabi, and he also participated in a distinguished manner in the Porsche Cup in Imola, Italy.
Hamad Al Ketbi, Ahmed Al Hammadi, and Rawda Al Nuaimi are participating in the endurance karting race, in addition to rookie Fares Haroun in the junior karting category.
The endurance karting team includes a mix of male and female drivers, and the three drivers: Hamad Al Ketbi, Ahmed Al Hammadi and Rawda Al Nuaimi will take turns driving the kart to complete 6 hours of continuous racing.
As for Fares Haroun, the youngest member of the team, he previously won the Middle East and North Africa Karting Championship Cup in his category last December.
Ghanem Al Mazrouei and Issa Al Marai are racing in the e-racing category in Formula 4 and GT, respectively, after winning the first official championship in e-racing for which they competed for two months, while Hazza Al Hosani will participate in the “drift” races.
