Expanding expansion work in Dubai Hospital soon

The Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department at Dubai Hospital, Dr. Khaldoun Walid Nabhan, stated that “the hospital will implement a package of expansion and development work soon, including adding eight families for intensive care for children, and it is expected to open it during the third quarter of this year, the expansion of the dialysis department and the increase in the number of devices It is to 72 instead of 46 devices, and to open kidney clinics in the same section, to facilitate the patient his reviews, and time management to control the condition so that it does not reach the laundry stage ».

Nabhan told «Emirates Today» that “the development work will also include the establishment of an education room for the patient in the department before washing, to make him aware of the reasons for washing and how to avoid it, as well as the expansion of the accident department to receive the largest possible number of cases.” He explained that «the hospital witnessed a new qualitative boom at the level of its health services, which included providing four vital departments with the best technologies and equipment, namely: the heart, radiology, childbirth, and premature children, as part of the development series conducted by the Dubai Health Authority in its hospitals and centers. He pointed out, “The supply of the radiology department, with equipment, which is the highest globally in the field of magnetic resonance, mammograms, and CT scans, as well as specialized and useful radiology devices.”

He added that “the hospital receives more than 2000 references per day in 23 specialties,” explaining that “the hospital is full of medical competencies and experiences of more than 300 doctors and doctors, who provide their services in various specialties, on top of which is the treatment of cancer cells, cardiac surgery, and urinary tract surgery ».
