“Expo City Dubai” launches the second phase of “Sedr Residences”


Yesterday, Expo City Dubai launched the second phase of the Sedr Residences apartment project, after the great success of the first phase. It also announced the appointment of Trans Mediterranean Contracting Company as the main contractor for the Sky Residences project.

The CEO of Real Estate Development and Delivery at Expo City Dubai, Engineer Ahmed Al Khatib, said, “The wide demand shows investors’ eagerness to own residential properties in our city,” adding: “As we launch sales of the second phase of (Sedr Residences), we are pleased to seek the help of a company.” (Across the Mediterranean Contracting), one of the companies (Al-Hamad Group of Companies), to carry out the construction work of the (Sky Residences) project.

He pointed out that “the announcement of these projects is a testimony to the great interest in the growth opportunities offered by Expo City and Dubai South, especially in the wake of the launch of our master plan and our joint project with Aldar, and the start of work on the planned expansion of the Dubai Exhibition Centre.”

“Expo City Dubai” stated, in a statement, that the “Sedr Residences” project, which includes 455 apartments and houses ranging in size from one to three bedrooms, is located on the outskirts of the “Expo Downtown” area, near Al Wasl Square, with views of “Terra.” Noting that the residential units in the project will be ready for delivery in the last quarter of 2027.

The Sky Residences project is located in the Expo Fields area, overlooking Al Wasl Square and Expo Falls, and has easy access to the planned school, sports facilities and an outdoor concert arena.

With the completion of foundation works and structural support, the appointment of Trans Mediterranean Contracting confirms that the project, consisting of three towers, is on track for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.
