Kholoud Al-Hajri won the title of Environmental Ambassador and obtained the “Cultural Passport.” She is anticipating her graduation in “Chemical Engineering” from Khalifa University of Science and Technology… to continue her journey of “boundless ambition,” as she says.

Kholoud (22 years old) invested her talent in chemistry, studying it as a scientific specialty (chemical engineering) at her first university station (Khalifa Science and Technology), satisfying her great desire to learn the details of this science, which is concerned with the detailed study of the chemical element and matter, and discussing their properties and behavior. .

The outstanding student’s passion for chemistry began in the early stages of her life, and she was able to prove her talent in it at the state level, when she participated in the seventh session of the Emirates Award for Young Scientists in 2016, in the field of chemistry, and came in an advanced position.

Kholoud also won first place in the Innovators Program (Chemistry Olympiad), for the academic year 2015/2016.

The program, organized by the Abu Dhabi Education Council, aims to prepare a specialized leadership student elite that reflects the cultural and scientific image of the UAE in international forums, and to find real paths to adopt scientific, literary and artistic talents, and train students in scientific, creative thinking and innovation, as well as provide students with leadership and social skills and values. Educational.

Kholoud told Emirates Today: “I am anticipating my graduation next semester with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, which I love. I will not be satisfied with it, but rather I will be keen to continue my ambitions and dreams related to it, related to enrolling in postgraduate studies until obtaining a doctorate, which will allow me to accomplish many things.” Scientific research and teaching students at the university level.

Kholoud obtained the highest IQ test in 2018, organized by the Emirates Association for the Gifted, with a score of 160.

Kholoud had three participations in the Environmental Marathon Program, organized by the Environment Agency in Abu Dhabi, but she succeeded in the fourth participation for the 2007-2008 academic year (fourth level), by winning the title of Environmental Ambassador. The program is considered the first of its kind in the country, and includes many environmental activities among school students in Abu Dhabi. It lasts for several weeks and receives great demand from students thanks to the efforts made by the concerned authorities to create a generation aware of the importance of the environment and its preservation.

In 2008, Kholoud also won the gold medal in the Cultural Passport Award, administered by the Family Development Foundation in Abu Dhabi. The award is considered a qualitative addition to the well-known pattern of literary competitions in the field of children’s cultural competitions. It is an innovative award that attracts students to participate in it in a distinctive and enjoyable way that encourages Embarking on the world of knowledge with a passport gives the child confidence and instills in him a love of reading, with the aim of deepening his culture, developing his imagination and expanding his awareness, in addition to being the first award of this kind in the Arab world.

Kholoud is anticipating her graduation in “Chemical Engineering” from Khalifa University of Science and Technology next semester, to continue the journey of “boundless ambition” in the field of chemical engineering, by continuing postgraduate studies and joining the field of academic teaching and scientific research, in which she sees a dazzling future.

Kholoud attributed her excellence in chemistry to the great support she received from her parents, in addition to the association, which spared no effort in supporting her and developing her talent in the field of chemistry.

She said: “To this day, the association is still in constant contact with me. It is concerned with the affairs of talented people, creating the appropriate climate for developing their abilities, unleashing their creative energies, providing their needs, investing in their abilities, and maximizing their returns, in an effort to support its strategic plan, which aims to sustain support for talents, by highlighting Shedding light on it, embracing it, and adopting it through the competent authorities, with the aim of achieving the greatest possible benefit from it.”

Kholoud won first place in the “Chemistry Olympiad” for the academic year 2015/2016.

Kholoud confirmed that she will not be satisfied with her bachelor’s degree, but will continue with her ambition and dreams.
