The Gulf Cooperation Council condemns Iran’s false accusations against the UAE, the bloc’s secretary-general said in a forceful response to a recent statement from Tehran. The statement reiterated the GCC’s support for the UAE and emphasised that attacks on Emirati territory and efforts to distort facts will not go unanswered.

Jasem Muhammad Al-Budaiwi publicly rejected the assertions contained in the Iranian foreign ministry statement and characterised them as unfounded and unacceptable.
