The Dip World Ports Group, which is affiliated with the Dubai Ports Group “DPDDDDD”, announced yesterday that it has obtained a contract to renew and extend the operational age of the storage and emptying ship of floating production “Bapab Evoranian”, by the company “Moddic Manager Service BTE Limited”, which enhances its place worldwide in the field of renewing complex marine assets.
It stated, in a statement, that the project operations are scheduled to start in May 2025 and continue for eight months, as it will include large -scale structural improvements on the ship, including renewing 1,000 tons of steel, painting 250 thousand square meters of tanks, and installing 11.5 thousand meters of new tubes.
The scope of work also includes improving the staff and integrating advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency and dependence of the ship.
Upon completion of the project, the ship will be extended for an additional 15 years, ensuring the continuity of energy production operations in the West Africa.
In the field of ship regeneration and the extension of their operating life and their conversion, “Global Dry Pinks” has completed more than 50 similar projects, including more than 30 updates to the vessels of storing and emptying floating production.
The productive capacity of the “Popap Evoranian” ship is 70 thousand barrels of oil per day, and 75 million cubic feet of natural gas, and it can pump 100 thousand barrels of water per day, and store up to two million barrels of crude oil.
The ship is currently operating in the “Pubab” oil field, which is 25 km from the Côte d’Ivoire coast, and the ship will be transferred to the World Dry Pinks facility in Dubai to carry out eight -month renewal work.
The signing ceremony of the contract was held at the headquarters of the International Dry Pinks Company, in the presence of the CEO of the company, the captain, Dr. Rado Antolovich, and the president of the company “Moddic Manager Service BTE Limited”, Gary Kennedy.
“The agreement with (Moddic) confirms the experience of the Global Pinks Company in implementing renewal and extension projects for the operating age of the floating ships and discharge.”
For his part, Kennedy said, “This contract was granted to the Global Dry Pink Company, after a careful selection process to find the perfect partner in this decisive project.
