The Authority’s Union Day celebrations, in the Authority’s main building, included a poetry session with the participation of Emirati poets Musabah Al Kaabi, Ali Al Nuaimi, Salem Al Kaabi, and Hamdan Al Samahi, and a video entitled “Zayed and Rashid,” in addition to heritage activities and events inspired by the ancient cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates.
In the main building of the Authority, which was decorated in the colors of the state flag, the Authority organized a number of heritage and national activities and events in the building’s outer courtyard, and hosted a distinguished show by the Emirati Military Band.
The Dubai International Financial Center also celebrates Federation Day, and this year’s celebration coincides with the center’s celebration of its two-decade legacy as the leading global financial center in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
Over the course of 20 years, the Dubai International Financial Center played a pivotal role in consolidating the UAE’s position as one of the global centers for finance and business, as it contributed significantly to the country’s economic transformation process.
In turn, and in a festive atmosphere full of joy and patriotic spirit, the Media Rotana Hotel Dubai, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority – Dubai Centre, and with the participation of the Red Crescent Cubs Team – Dubai National School, Al Barsha Branch, organized a celebration on the occasion of the 53rd Federation Day of the UAE. The event hosted Al Hilal children and their families registered at the center, where a smile was put on the children’s faces through the distribution of gifts.
The event included many entertainment activities for children and families, with the participation of the hotel staff and General Manager Sherif Madkour, who shared the joy of the children in an intimate and special atmosphere. Dhahi Al-Budour from the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai was also present, in addition to representatives from the Dubai Police, who contributed to distributing more gifts to the children, which added more happiness and joy to the atmosphere.
In his speech, Sherif Madkour said: “This event represents the true meaning of Union Day, which is based on the values of unity, giving, and joy.
