Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency Ferdinand Marcos, President of the Republic of the Philippines, during which he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the continued support that the UAE provides to his country and its people in various circumstances.
His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos appreciated the relief aid provided by the UAE to those affected by the floods and rains that the Philippines witnessed during the past periods, in addition to its provision of humanitarian support to Filipino nationals in Lebanon during the current crisis it is going through.
During the call, the two sides also discussed various aspects of cooperation between the UAE and the Philippines and opportunities to develop their relations, especially economic, trade, investment, development and other vital areas that support development priorities and contribute to achieving the common interests of the two countries.
