Although the Middle East and North Africa region was ranked sixth in the law and public order index among the ten regions identified by the report, the high points recorded by the UAE in the various criteria of the index enabled it to occupy the top of the ranking within the security and personal safety component by achieving a percentage It reached 95%, and ranked second on the general index with 93 points behind Norway, which ranked first by scoring 94 points in the overall ranking, and which came second behind the UAE in the personal security and safety component with 93%, and is considered The UAE is the only Arab and Middle Eastern country included in the top 15 places in the report.

In this year’s edition of the index, Gallup relied on the answers given by about 120,000 people aged 15 years and older in 115 countries and regions around the world, to four questions about the extent of their feeling of safety in the countries in which they live, and the extent of the government’s capacity in each country. A state that establishes order and implements the law.

The report stated that the UAE enjoys advanced levels of security, personal safety, and public order for its residents, as anyone in it can leave the house at any time throughout the day, without any threats to their security and personal safety. It praised the level of public order in the country, which It ensures the highest levels of security, in addition to the great trust that residents on its land have in the police and other security institutions.
