The Emirati Competitiveness Council called on young citizens looking for job opportunities that suit their qualifications, specializations and desires, to follow the “Nafis” platform periodically and continue browsing it and searching for desired jobs, pointing out that the platform offers new job opportunities on a daily basis, while the Council confirmed that national cadres can Part-time employees, known as “Part Time,” benefit from “Nafis” initiatives, packages, and programs that include all activities and fields of work in the private sector.
In detail, the UAE Employment Competitiveness Council confirmed that the “Nafis” electronic platform plays a major and vital role in attracting qualified nationals and talents and opening channels of communication between them and the private sector institutions operating in the country, so that job seekers explore the job opportunities they desire in the private sector. Which contributes to increasing the participation of citizens as a workforce in this sector.
The Council stated, in a series of guidance videos broadcast on its official pages on social media platforms, that “NAFES” is a federal government program that aims to raise the competitive efficiency of national cadres and enable them to fill approximately 75,000 jobs in private sector institutions in the country during the next five years. Pointing out that for this purpose, the Council adopts a comprehensive approach to facilitate the employment of Emirati citizens in the private sector through the phased implementation of 11 initiatives covering all aspects of the job seeker’s employment journey, including the “Citizens’ Salaries Support Programme,” Mazaya program, allowance program for children of workers in the private sector, temporary support program, subscription program (for retirement), job opportunities, vocational guidance program, development of nursing sector cadres, job targets for citizens in the private sector, experience program, and finally a competencies program.”
The Council explained, in the videos that included responses to the most frequently asked questions among national cadres wishing to benefit from the “Nafis” initiatives, that the target group of this program’s initiatives are citizens seeking work and currently working in the private sector, of both genders and who are 18 years old. And above, it also targets private sector establishments in the country, stressing that the “Nafis” platform offers new job opportunities on a daily basis.
The Council called on national cadres looking for job opportunities that suit their qualifications, specializations, and desires, to follow the platform on a daily basis and continue searching for the desired jobs, adding that if any suitable job opportunities are not offered to the job seeker, he can continue to explore the opportunities available in the field of training and development, and in If he obtains a job outside Nafs, he can still obtain the benefits of other programs according to the eligibility conditions and criteria.
