Our national judo team is awaiting the result of the Grand Slam Great Championship, scheduled for today, through the “Video Technology”, and will be hosted by the Tajikistan Federation under the supervision of the International Federation, from the second to the fourth of May this year, and its competitions will start tomorrow, in the tennis hall in Doshanbe.
The national team represents Naji Yazbek, Karim Abdel Latif (under 73 kg), Suleiman Ibrahim (under 90 kg), while the participation of Dhofar Kosov will be determined in (a weight below 100 kg) before the championship draw, and the technical meeting.
The Board of Directors of the Judo Union, headed by Mohamed bin Thalouf Al -Darai, also approved the participation of four players within our first national team in the Championship of the Championship of Parisi Grand Salam 2025, scheduled in Astana in Kazakhstan from ninth to May 11.
The list of players includes Naji Yazbek (under 66 kg), Omar Jad (under 81 kg), Suleiman Ibrahim, Gregory Aram (under 90 kg), and the mission is headed by a member of the National Olympic Committee, Secretary General, Dr. Nasser Al -Tamimi.
