The Board of Directors of the Judo Union, headed by Mohamed bin Thalouf Al -Darai, approved the participation of the first national team in the “Tbilisi Grand Salam” Judo championship, which is hosted by the Georgian Judo Federation during the period from 21 to 23 March, and comes within the program of preparation and qualification for the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
The Federation has set the participating in the number of four players according to their classification and the level of the next championship, who are Naji Yazbek, in the weight of under 66 kg, winner of the Casablanca International Open Championship, Karim Abdel Latif, under 73 kg, winner of the Casablanca Championship gold, and Amr Jad, the winner of the bronze medal in the “Tashkent Grand Salam” championship, and Suleiman Ibrahim, in a weight under 90 kg, The winner of the Casablanca International Open Championship.
