The Rugby Union announced the signing of an agreement with its Egyptian counterpart to launch the UAE -Egyptian Super Club Cup for the category of 15 players, which is the tournament that will bring the Rajabi clubs in both countries.
According to the agreement, the first edition of the tournament will be held in the city of El Alamein this year, with the UAE to host the second version next year.
The signing ceremony took place in the historic royal hall of the Alexandria Sports Stadium, where the agreement was signed by the Secretary -General of the Emirates Federation for Rajabi, Mohamed Sultan Al -Zaabi, the President of the Egyptian Federation Hossam Sahib, in the presence of the President of the Arab and Asian Federations Qais al -Dhali, the members of the Emirati Federation Saud Abdullah Al -Nuaimi, Fawzia Faridoun, in addition to the Vice President of the Egyptian Federation Hassan Khaled, the member of the Federation Maryam Muwafi, and the President of the African Union of Rajabi Herber.
The tournament will be held in the home and away system, and the first leg will play in the city of El Alamein next August.
