Latifa bint Mohammed attends the Qatari National Day celebration in Dubai

Yesterday, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, attended the reception held by the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Dubai at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, on the occasion of the National Day of the sisterly State of Qatar.

Upon her arrival to the ceremony, Her Highness was received by the Consul General of the State of Qatar in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Saeed bin Ali Al Hajri. Her Highness conveyed the congratulations of the UAE leadership, government and people to sister Qatar, led by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and to the Qatari people. Brother, Her Highness stressed the depth of the established fraternal relations between the two countries, and expressed her sincere wishes for the State of Qatar for further progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State and Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Head of the State Security Service in Dubai, Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul, and Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah. Khalifa Al Marri, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Saeed Al Tayer, Director of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, and Governor Dubai International Financial Centre, Issa Kazim, Director General of Dubai Chambers, Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, and a number of senior state officials and notables, in addition to members of the Arab and foreign consular missions in Dubai and members of the Qatari community in the country.
