Made in UAE platform boosts industrial exports and secures new partnerships

Made in UAE products expand exports and factory investments after national manufacturing platform

Made in UAE manufacturers clinch export deals and set up new plants after the ‘Made in the UAE’ platform, boosting industrial growth and regional market access.

The national “Made in the UAE” platform, held in Abu Dhabi, concluded with manufacturers reporting new export agreements and factory investments that underscore growing international demand for Emirati-made goods. The event, designed to showcase local industrial capacity, drew deals across energy storage, oil-and-gas supplies, marine equipment, and tech services. Exhibitors said the platform helped convert conversations into contracts and accelerate plans for larger domestic production. Industry leaders singled out quality standards and government backing as key drivers enabling Emirati products to compete regionally and globally.

Battery producer plans large Abu Dhabi plant after rapid-charge breakthrough

Ahmed Al Amri, managing director of Inercap, a unit of Apex Energy, said his company’s energy-storage batteries are engineered for varied uses from vehicles to home backup systems. He described a fast-charge capability that the firm advertises as under five minutes, and said demand has prompted plans to open a larger manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi within about three months. Inercap currently serves the UAE market and ships to European and Asian buyers, and executives said the platform helped secure distribution and partnership agreements. Company representatives credited national quality controls and industrial policy for enabling scale-up and export competitiveness.

Oil and gas connector maker credits repeated platform presence with growth

Flexbel, a UAE producer of extended connectors for the oil-and-gas sector, marked its fourth consecutive participation in the national manufacturing event. Salman Al Bannai, Flexbel’s business development director, said recurring attendance has amplified the firm’s visibility and directly increased order volumes. He urged small and medium manufacturers to use future editions of the platform to establish government and private-sector contacts. The company emphasised that certified quality standards helped it expand across the Middle East and into overseas markets, reinforcing the credibility of the Made in UAE label.

Four-decade marine and energy manufacturer moves from concept to factory

Ataa Holding, known locally as Al Nasr Company, reported that an idea presented at previous editions matured into an approved factory project following discussions at the platform. Operations director Waseem Saleh noted the group’s more than 40 years of experience in marine, oil and gas industries and said participation directly led to machinery orders and construction plans for the new plant. The company continues to supply neighboring markets while maintaining coverage of domestic demand. Saleh said such project conversions illustrate how the platform accelerates industrial development from concept to production.

Digital services firm highlights regional footprint and AI integration

EZ Link, a UAE-headquartered wireless networks and software provider, showcased its network infrastructure solutions aimed at SMEs and start-ups during the event. CEO Ali Al Zarouni outlined a footprint that includes branches across Gulf states and said the firm supports more than 2,000 business clients and over 10 million users on its Emirati networks. He added that integrating artificial intelligence into operations has improved service reliability and helped the company win competitive contracts. Officials said the platform offered meetings that strengthened regional partnerships and opened paths for further export of digital services under the Made in UAE banner.

Heritage crafts draw youth interest and diversify manufacturing identity

The platform also hosted a notable turnout for traditional handcrafts, where young Emirati entrepreneurs displayed heritage products made from local raw materials. Project owner Salem Al Mansouri described working with family members to modernise craft offerings while preserving traditional methods, and said youth interest at the event was high. Several participants highlighted the increasing involvement of young women in learning and continuing artisanal trades, framing craft industries as both cultural preservation and new micro-enterprise opportunities. Organisers noted that showcasing crafts alongside industrial goods helps broaden the narrative of what constitutes national manufacturing.

Emirate-wide industry representatives said the platform’s mix of large manufacturers, specialised suppliers and small craft-makers created a fertile environment for deals and publicity. Participants reported signing cooperation agreements and securing purchase orders that will increase production and lift export volumes. Many cited sustained government focus on industrial policy and quality assurance as pivotal to raising the global profile of Made in UAE products.

Business groups attending the event signalled plans to return next year with expanded displays and new product lines. Companies indicated they will continue leveraging the platform to find distributors, finalise joint ventures and accelerate factory openings that support regional and international market access.

The overall outcome of the event suggests a maturing industrial ecosystem in the UAE, where competitive standards, targeted exhibitions and industry-government coordination are converting local manufacturing potential into tangible export growth and domestic investment.
