The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology announced the launch of the third edition of the “Made in the Emirates” awards, to honor national and foreign companies contributing to promoting sustainable industrial growth in the UAE, and expanding the prizes to include 15 categories instead of 10 categories, which fall under five main classifications, including excellence in National content, future factory, industrial potentials, strategic partners, leadership and talents, and handicrafts.
The year 2025 will witness, for the first time, under the umbrella of the National Industry and Technology Strategy, the introduction of a specialized category for the “Made in the Emirates – the Emirates Purity Category for Individuals and Companies”, to honor craftsmen and contributing companies in developing the growth and competitiveness of Emirati heritage forestry, highlighting Emirati craftsmen, and empowering them From reaching the possibilities and incentives provided through a “project of 300 billion”.
The nomination door is opened and the requests of companies and individuals will be received to participate in “Awards made in the Emirates”, by registering at the link, during the period from February 11 to April 21, 2025.
The winners will be announced and honored in the presence of the leading leaders of industry, officials, experts, investors and financing, in a special ceremony within the work of the fourth edition of the “Made in the Emirates” forum, which will be held from 19 to 22 May next at the “Denik” Center Abu Dhabi, which is the largest and broader version since The launch of the forum three years ago.
“Awards Make in the Emirates” are an essential part of the Ministry’s efforts to contribute to motivating all concerned authorities, investors and entrepreneurs to benefit from successful experiences, and to participate in promoting comprehensive and sustainable industrial development in the UAE.
The evaluation committee in the award applies the highest standards of accuracy and transparency, in a manner that ensures the honor of the most entitled institutions, companies and individuals, and the candidates are evaluated based on their fulfillment and compatibility with the criteria of the award category they submitted.
It is noteworthy that the fourth edition of the “Maken in the Emirates” forum will witness for the first time the allocation of a pavilion for Emirati crafts and handicrafts, along with another pavilion to display the most prominent technology solutions supporting the growth, efficiency and productivity of the industrial sector.
