During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan reviewed the strategy that focuses on all operational and practical fields, while identifying various strategic initiatives, goals, and updates that accelerate the pace of work and achievement, in addition to the requirements for developing facilities and services in villages and regions to be one of the best tourist destinations And development in the state.

The strategy attaches great importance to sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, by relying on an integrated set of standards and main performance indicators, to track the progress of strategic initiatives and measure their results, and the council’s strategy is based on an integrated set of axes aimed at developing balanced development projects and managing their workflow, and coordination with local ministries and entities In concern about the development plans of villages, regions and the timeline for implementation, and the adoption of the proposed partnership areas with the private sector, especially national companies.

The projects of the Emirates Balanced Development Council aim to enhance the quality of life in all regions of the country and build a sustainable development model that provides economic and investment opportunities that achieve social stability and a decent life for the residents of these regions, by focusing on development axes, and launching commercial and economic projects to accommodate youth energies, and awareness With the historical and archaeological dimension of the regions that are being developed as an important part of the history of the UAE.

The council’s strategy is based on four basic axes with the aim of achieving comprehensive growth in rural areas, and includes economic, societal, tourism and cultural axes.

The economic axis aims to create mini -economies through an integrated group of programs that include “productive farms”, “support for creative and craftsmanship”, in addition to the “job opportunity” program to create job opportunities for the people of rural areas.
