Mohammed bin Rashid adopts the Dubai Planning Plan

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, approved a general plan that defines all sectors and names of regions and sectors in the Emirate of Dubai, which was implemented by the Dubai Municipality with the help of an elite of experienced in this field to stabilize the locations of the old names that have a history A link in these areas.

The Director General of Dubai Municipality, Eng. Hussein Nasser Lootah, said that with this accreditation, all regions and sectors have been identified with their names and the official borders of the sites that will be circulated to institutions and bodies in the Emirate of Dubai to be the accredited reference, as it was carefully studied taking into account the preservation of the original names of it, through people from Those with “well -known” experience to confirm their historical names, for fear of their disappearance and their forgetfulness and the lack of knowledge of generations about them, indicating that new names were launched that covered the rest of the areas where the city’s plan was completed at the present time.

He pointed out that the documentation of these areas comes out of the keenness of His Highness to root and document the history of these areas in Dubai and its meanings, which are part of the emirate’s heritage to be inherited through generations.

The number of sectors in the Emirate of Dubai is 13 accredited sectors, namely the Nakhleh Deira, Dira, Bardbi, Zabeel, Jumayra, and the gardens of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Mushrif, Al -Awir, Dubai Land, Jabal Ali, the waterfront, the international center and the canal area.
