The students of students told «Emirates Today» that the results that their children will achieve are what will determine whether they will continue to rely on the teacher himself, or whether they will move to another teacher, pointing out that what is currently concerned with them is to know the prices, and benefit from its discounts.
On the other hand, teachers have warned against resorting to the teachers of the communication sites, and to be attracted to their ads, stressing that the only goal of their financial offers is to attract more students to their classes, while it is not possible to know the extent of their efficiency.
In detail, “Emirates Today” monitored ads published by teachers on “groups” of social media, and paper publications, to provide private lessons service at “suitable prices for all”, and the ads included incentive phrases in order to attract students and their families, while the prices provided between 30 and 50 dirhams per hour. .

One of the teachers advertising for private lessons on Facebook told “Emirates Today” that the reason for using the phrase “symbolic prices” is that the private lessons market is witnessing great competition, due to the loss of teachers of many jobs in schools, and their direction to private lessons, And “therefore each teacher seeks to attract the largest number of students at the expense of prices, to compensate for his loss of his salary.”
He added that the multiplicity of students wishing to private lessons during one hour is not a challenge to the teacher’s ability, because he can study more than 50 students at a time from a distance. But he admitted difficult to verify the teacher’s efficiency before the student’s results appear.
A teacher announced that she can establish students in the Arabic language, read, write, follow up and solve duties in social studies and Islamic education, adding that she provides lessons virtually at a price of 30 dirhams per hour.
Another teacher confirmed her willingness to teach all subjects for grades from first to six, whether “remote”, inside the student’s house or in her home, at a price of 40 dirhams per hour.
A third teacher announced that she could teach for first -graders and follow their duties, with a salary of 300 dirhams per month.
A teacher emphasized that he specializes in the English language, and has experience in the curricula, the ministerial, British and American, and he has the ability to establish students in the English language from scratch, in addition to strengthening and following up his school duties, calling for a price of 50 dirhams per share.
The last teaching of Islamic education, Arabic language, memorizing the Holy Qur’an and establishing students, stressing that he is ready to give private lessons at reasonable prices, suitable for everyone, as he is ready to stay in the student’s house, and teach him three hours a day.
A teacher said that he is ready to follow the students, strengthen them and establish them in reading, writing and memorizing the Holy Quran during the education period, through the Microsoft Times program with “symbolic prices” suitable for everyone, and presented a special discount for primary students.
An English language teacher, science and mathematics published an advertisement in which he said that he has a distance experience in the field of teaching, and he can follow students at all stages, and help them solve duties on the platform of “Zoom” and “Times” with “the lowest prices”.
For their part, students of students said that they chose the education model for their children, because of their fear of infection with the Corona virus infection. They added that the results that their children will achieve are what will determine whether they will continue to rely on the teacher himself, or whether they will move to another teacher.
Naima Khattabi (the mother of Talibin) stated that she turned her home into a virtual school for eight hours a day, distributed in school classes, and the private lessons quotas in which teachers follow what her two children studied.
She added that she and her husband are employees, and they do not have enough time to follow the lessons of their two sons, in addition to that they are not specialized in the educational materials they are studying.
She said: “It is true that private lessons are an additional financial burden, but we are forced to rely on, because teaching levels with a less quality learning system of education in the classroom.”
Suhair Mustafa (the mother of Talib) reported that she went to a private teacher to teach her son, because the school teachers are working to perform the class without interaction with the students.
On the other hand, the teachers stressed the memory of Saif, Mona Abbas and Ikrami Rashid on the need to resort to teachers of scientific competence, and not to rely on social media advertisements, pointing out that the majority of ads include exaggerated or unrealistic information.
They added that the only goal of the financial offers that many teachers offer remotely is to attract more students to their classes, while it is not possible to know how efficiently they enjoy.
The Ministry of Education attributed the prohibition of direct private lessons to its commitment to the application of preventive measures and precautionary measures to confront the new Corona virus, which would preserve the safety of students, and consequently the safety of society and its health security.
30 thousand dirhams fine
The regulation of seizing violations of precautionary measures, instructions and duties imposed to limit the spread of the “Kofid 19” virus, which was issued by the state’s public prosecutor, confirmed that practicing the special teaching activity (private lessons) by submitting them through direct contact (personal meeting) in public or private places or home visits, In return or for free for all educational levels, or allowing it, organizing it, or mediating it, a violation shall be punished by providing, organizing, or mediating, by paying a fine of 30 thousand dirhams.
