Ras Al Khaimah Police arrest a masked thief and arrest the publisher of his videos on social media platforms

Ras Al Khaimah Police, represented by the Criminal Investigations Department in the General Department of Police Operations, was able to arrest an Asian thief who committed several thefts of vehicle contents in various areas of the emirate within a short time after breaking their windows while hiding behind a mask he was wearing in an attempt to prevent his features from being recognised.
Regarding the details of this case, the Director General of Police Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier General Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, explained that several reports had been received by the relevant authorities in the leadership about an unknown person wearing a mask stealing the contents of vehicles after breaking one of their windows in a number of areas of the emirate, while it spread throughout the city. Social media is a collection of videos and photos of stolen vehicles.
He added that a specialized team of men from the Criminal Investigation Department was immediately formed, and a comprehensive action plan was drawn up through which all the necessary evidence was collected, and the search for the perpetrator began until these efforts were crowned with success through identifying his identity, it turned out that he was an Asian resident, and the stolen items were seized.
He pointed out that the accused admitted during police investigations that he broke the windows of the vehicles and stole their valuable contents, and he is being referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal procedures followed against him, while the person who published and promoted the clips and pictures of the stolen vehicles was also arrested and arrested, and he is also being referred to the Public Prosecution, calling on the public. Not to publish and circulate such types of clips and images to prevent any negative effects on the process of investigations and legal procedures and to avoid perpetrators taking the necessary precautions that make it difficult to reach them.
The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, praised the vigilance of the men of the General Department of Police Operations, which contributed to their speedy arrest of the masked thief who stole vehicle contents of Asian nationality in his thirties, stressing that the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police will remain a watchful eye.
