The Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Alia Bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei, stated during the activities of the “Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival”, which was launched yesterday, in the presence of Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Center for Entrepreneurship (Saraya), that the state aims to raise the success rate of young entrepreneurs from 30% to 50% by 2031, pointing to the launch of the entrepreneurial system and the “leadership” fund in cooperation with 16 government agencies, with the aim of supporting and developing entrepreneurship in the country, as the fund allocated 300 million dirhams as incentives to encourage graduates to enter the entrepreneurial sector.

In detail, the activities of the eighth session of the “Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival” were launched yesterday, with the participation of a group of international business leaders, and change makers, including Sheikha Hor bint Sultan Al Qasimi, an institution and president of the Sharjah Art Foundation.

Sheikha Hor bint Sultan Al Qasimi confirmed, during a discussion session entitled “Treating social challenges and enhancing the rapprochement between cultures through art and charitable and humanitarian work”, that every project is working on it that reflects its own vision, inspired by this principle from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Council The highest ruler of Sharjah, who always emphasizes the importance of society writes its history himself instead of being written by others, noting the importance of integration between culture and entrepreneurship, and that supporting the sectors of museums, culture and education, and others fall on individuals and institutions to ensure their sustainability and enhance their impact on society .

During the opening ceremony, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, Alia Bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei, delivered a president with a “road map for a pioneering state.”

In her speech, she indicated the launch of the entrepreneurial system and the “leadership” fund in cooperation with 16 government agencies, with the aim of supporting and developing entrepreneurship in the country, and raising the rate of success of young entrepreneurs from 30% to 50% by 2031, explaining that the fund allocated 300 million dirhams as incentives to encourage Graduates to enter the entrepreneurial sector.

She added, “The UAE economy has proven its elasticity, while relying on small and medium -sized companies, which represents 95% of the total companies in the country, and employ approximately 86% of the total workforce in the private sector.”
