Late yesterday evening, Sharjah Police arrested (R.A.A. – 24 years old), of Arab nationality, who called himself “Dungur.” He promoted himself as having the ability to abuse victims via the Internet, after direct interaction from Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, with appeals from a number of families and young people who use electronic social clubs and BlackBerry phones, to rid them of the leader A “fake” gang who claimed that no one was able to catch him or deter him from committing the alleged crimes. His Highness directed the speedy arrest of the accused, who had prepared a video clip and broadcast it over the Internet, to show his imaginary crimes, which aroused the ire of his network users.

His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, through a post on Twitter and Facebook, thanked the efforts of the members who appealed to the police and reported this incident, praising their sincere zeal and sense of security and belonging to this good country. His Highness said, “This is clear evidence of the extent of awareness, solidarity, and interconnectedness between the various segments of society and the police force, to stand united in the face of any breach that threatens security and social stability, no matter how large or low its level.”

His Highness added that “security cannot be achieved except with the cooperation and cohesion of all,” reassuring the audience that “what they saw in (the film material) is nothing but pretense, blind imitation, and childish absurdity, but it leaves negative effects on the reputation of the nation, and it is necessary for us all to work to eradicate it, as well as “It is a behavior that is far removed from our civilized values and our deep-rooted, authentic traditions.”

His Highness stressed that “the watchful eye will always be on the lookout for anyone who tampers with our civilizational achievements, thanks to God, the determination of the supreme leadership, and the efforts of the loyal people of the nation.”

The Sharjah Police had received the directives of His Highness, the day before yesterday, and began examining the content of the film material that showed the criminal allegations of the film’s owner, his ability to commit crimes of torture and blackmail against his victims, and the sound of their calls for help in a traditional manner of the art of “rap.” The police, in turn, prepared an ambush that they managed to manage. During which the suspect was arrested, along with the arrest of his sister, who confessed to their role in creating this charade, according to the description of the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Hamid. Al-Hudaidi.

Al-Hudaidi explained that investigations showed that the suspect was unemployed and had not completed his school education. He justified his action by wanting to draw attention and imitate criminals involved in cinematic productions, and what gang leaders do to their opponents.

While Al-Hudaidi denounced this abnormal behavior, which he attributed to weak moral conscience, flattened personal awareness, and the absence of the family’s supervisory role, in addition to bad company, he expressed his confidence in the role of judicial, penal, and correctional institutions to deter such behavior on the one hand, and work to reform it on the other hand.
