The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research, has allocated full scholarships, within the “Teacher of the Future” project, in the specializations of “Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.”
The Ministry requires Arab students applying for the “Future Teacher” scholarship to have been residents of the UAE for the last three years, and to have obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent from one of the accredited schools within the country, provided that it is no more than one year since graduating from “high school”, and that they have obtained a grade of 90% or more in “high school”.
The applicant must also have a score of (5) on the IELTS exam, 1100 on the EmSAT English exam or its equivalent, be a full-time student, not be over 20 years old, and wish to study one of three specializations: mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
The Ministry mentioned several advantages of the “Future Teacher” grant, which are providing academic support for students to obtain a scientific degree to become future teachers in the country, providing high-quality professional experience for future teachers, providing job opportunities in the Ministry’s schools after graduation in the teaching profession, completing the required training, and providing free housing and transportation for males only.
The Ministry called on those wishing to register for the scholarship through its website: www.kuslar.ae, noting that Khalifa University is responsible for implementing the application and selection process independently to ensure that candidates meet the eligibility criteria.
