The Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship for juniors aged 10 to 13 years was launched as part of the activities of the 16th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The tournament witnessed matches full of strength, excitement, and enthusiasm, with wide participation from the most prominent clubs and academies in the world, which reflects its position as a platform for attracting elite players and talents.
The UAE players gave a strong performance amid a large crowd that filled the stands, while the cheers of the fans contributed to motivating the players to perform at high technical levels to climb the podium.
The competitions were attended by Her Excellency Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, His Excellency Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Abdul Moneim Al Sayed Mohammed Al Hashemi, President of the Emirati and Asian Federations and First Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and Rashid Lahej Al Mansouri, Director General of the General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs. Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and Engineer Saeed Omran Al Rumaithi, CEO of Amstel Group, Brigadier General Muhammad Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhaheri.
In terms of results, in the boys’ category, the lead went to the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club, while the Kazakhstan National Academy came in second place, and Al Ain Club came third. As for the girls’ level, Al Jazira Club came first, Baniyas Club came in second place, and Commando Group Academy came in third place.
