Yesterday, Flydubai and Batik Air Malaysia announced a partnership agreement that allows Flydubai passengers to access more than 40 destinations across the Malaysian carrier’s network via Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Flydubai said in a statement that the agreement provides passengers with flexible and seamless connecting flights between the UAE and Malaysia and abroad, as well as exploring new destinations on the two carriers’ joint network with one reservation with checked baggage.
The agreement also provides the opportunity for flydubai customers to travel to destinations in Southeast Asia on the Batik Air network, including Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka and Sydney. In addition, Batik Air passengers can travel seamlessly to 38 destinations on flydubai’s growing network across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central Europe and Southeastern Europe, in addition to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Middle East, including popular destinations such as Entebbe and Istanbul. Milan-Bergamo, Prague and Zagreb.

For his part, Batik Air CEO, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthi, said that the agreement with Flydubai represents an important step forward towards enhancing travel capabilities for customers.
He added: “By combining the networks of Batik Air and Flydubai, we are not only making it easier for travelers to connect to new destinations, but we are also strengthening relations between Malaysia and a wide range of global destinations.”
